Gather at this beautiful new dance studio in Watkinsville, GA! We'll have a large open space for the chi to flow that's cool when it's hot out and cozy when it's chilly! No special equipment necessary, although socks and comfortable clothing are recommended. There are restrooms and changing rooms available, as well as a place to fill your water bottle.

Classes start August 19th and 20th! Since we're a new school, we'll be offering two different class times for the first few months before re-evaluating and deciding on what days and times work best for students. If you're interested in joining our practice, but these days and times don't work for you, please reach out and let us know!

$15/drop-in class

We know your schedule can't always handle another weekly committment, so why pay when you can't always make it? Drop-in for only $15/class! Recommended for people who are trying things out and still deciding if they like it enough to committ to a full 15 week session or those with some tai chi experience and just looking to play with others every now and then. Cash, card or Venmo at the studio.

15 sessions for $195

Why not go batty and give something new a try? By paying for a full 15 week session in advance you save money in the long run and committ to actually giving this new thing a chance. This pass is ideal for people who need a little extra motivation to get them out the door to try something new. Let this financial investment pay dividends in health and well-being as you build your practice over the next
15 weeks. Cash, card or Venmo at the studio.

We move not to fight, but to invite ease and energy into every step

Our Curriculum

What to expect

Form Work

Warm-up and meditation

Laying the foundation

Learn the main stepping patterns and arm movements found in tai chi to practice correct form and weight transfer. Stepping drills gradually build toward the full, unbroken flow of the traditional form.

Gentle, repetitive movements, based on qi-gong, that stimulate internal energy and warm up our muscles, followed by a guided meditation to bring our awareness back to our bodies and ground our energy.

String the foundational steps together in a continuous sequence of deliberate, low-impact movements designed to improve stability and calm the nervous system, turning physical movement into active meditation.
